Does anyone DIY in a maker space?

Hello!

I enjoy diy and I'm ready to take my DIY to the next level....in spirit...but I have neither the physical space nor the financial resources to have some of the really powerful tools (e.g. cnc machine for cutting plexi/acrylic))

I was wondering if anyone here uses a shared makerspace in their town, and if so, what your experience has been?

Not specifically, but first out of the gate I would talk with the manager/owner and their customers to get better source information specific for the location(s) you are scouting. The on site management relationship has to be smooth or else you are renting another piece of perdition, ime. Good luck, great question, good fortune!
