Does anyone have a good tweezer to print?

Does anyone have a file for a good pair of tweezers? preferably on the larger side, 8-ish inches?

ABS/Nylon printed tweezers do “ok” but PLA/PETG really lack strength depending on what you’re using them for.

i am trying to keep my hand out of the tank as much as i can, so to change my filtercotton or fish out my bag of carbon i use tweezers. Nothing heavy duty required.
Now i use stainless ones but id rather not use metal in my tank.

Putting a set of metal tweezers in your tank for a few seconds to lets say 5min will not harm your tank. We need to just chill on overthinking things like this.

I defiantly support the side to keep your hands out of the tank but even then I don't care as much anymore.

316 Stainless is not going to hurt anything. For the contact times involved here you could probably use pure nickel tweezers with no effect. That said PETG should work for what you’re doing.

I use an old screw driver to kill vermitds There are a few spots of rust on it to.

I know that a few seconds of contact most likely wont do anything, it's just that my pair of tweezers is over 30 years old and showing signs of rust and deterioration.
So im thinking if i can avoid using metal,why not.

So instead of buying some, i tought i'd give 3d printed a whirl.

I have a bag of literal rust in my tank for phosphate reduction. I also sometimes dose a bit of iron fertilizer to kick start macro growth.

I wouldn’t worry about rust. That said, the joy of 3d printing is making something that works for you and what you need. Size, length, bends, grips, etc. knock yourself out
