Does anyone have any idea what this stuff is?

Hello everyone!
This is my first post on here. Anyway I have had my tank set up for almost two years now and everything is going good but about a month ago this stuff started popping up on my rock and equipment chords (see attached picture). When I touch it it feels squishy haha that’s the best way to describe it. I have no idea what it is. Usually I do my research and find the answer but I have looked everywhere and can’t find anyone that has experienced the same issue. All my water levels are perfect. If anyone has a suggestion or has dealt with the same thing please help me out. Thanks!

Thank you! I thought maybe sponges but don’t they normally have some sort of siphon? I know it’s hard to tell in the picture but I don’t see any siphons.

Looked at the pics again, and from what I see, their colonial tunicates, google them and see if that’s what you have.
