Here is my frag. I don't see this morphing into the orange color I have seen. Anyone out there have colony they want to show off?

I'm interested as well. I purchased a TCK Plutonium Pikachu months ago. Was a very pale yellow when I first received it. Nothing but green ever since.

I'll try to get a better pic tonight under just blues. The pick I posted yesterday was under all t5 bulbs. It is much more yellow than what I posted already.

My frag wasn't acquired directly from TCK, but it was sold to me as a Pikachu (and I trust the source). I'll also qualify this with my SPS colors in general suck.

Ours is 6" under the water line, big flow and Ocean Revives 12" over the waterline
and our Golden Angel likes the polyp's.

Mine looked just that when I first put in my tank. I have tried placing it in a few different places to try and regain its color but no luck so far.

Does yours like high light and flow?
If you are talking about colour then low nitrate <3ppm brings the yellow bright. TCK keep them under Zeovit programme so they like ULNS system more as far the colour goes.

I was told the same by TCK. I kept my tank at ULNS for 3-4 months and all that did is make all my other corals very pale. After losing several pieces I raised my nutrients and i haven't lost anything since.

Yup, ULNS is not for weak hearts....lol....but its fine with 2ppm nitrate and 0ppm PO4.

I have some luck with this coral. Mine have deep yellow almost identical as the Pink Floyd

Yup! Mr. V knows his stuff and it looks like that in person. The one I got from him kept its color for 2 months now. My nitrates level is 2ppm and my Phos is zero. I do dose No3.

My Pikachu got worse, but is on the mend. Still not a bright yellow but much better in the last 3 months.

Nice!
Can you identify any changes you made that could contribute to the turnaround?

More PAR mainly. I got new lights at the end of April (Mitras LX7) and have gone from ~300par at the top of the tank to ~550. I also lowered my nitrate from ~12-16 to ~5ppm now and phosphates were ~.2 and are down to .01-.02 now.
