Many fish out there we can't get. Either too deep, importing laws, collection laws or just ability to be collected safely.
I saw a post somewhere from a guy from Africa laughing at the prices of Gem Tangs in the US. They are native to there and relatively cheap.
I've heard the same for yellow and purple tangs in the UK. Yellows are expensive and purples are cheap. Opposite of the US.
Just depends on where you live, how easy it is collected and how far it needs to be transported.
IMO the Gramma loreto is one of the nicest fish you can get but because it's common and easy to collect then it becomes routine. The Gramma dejongi would be on par with the royal gramma if it was more easily obtainable.
