Does anyone know how to fix this

So my green hammer since I’ve added it to my tank back in January has been weird looking. It has no resemblance to the hammers I’ve seen at the stores so I have no idea how to fix this

I don’t think it is because even my other hammer seems to have small shrunken anvils

Well by weird I mean that the hammer or anvils don’t seem to swell up very much

I have a hammer I added over a year ago that finally started to look happier where it’s at in my tank. It still isn’t thriving but someday I think it will start growing like a weed. Until then I will just keep waiting for it to get there. Sometimes this is how they roll.
