My son and I have been "spring" cleaning to make room for a new tank and have thrown away 8 bags of stuff! That bits great my 4 month old puppy got into the binbag box and found this small net of something and has ripped it open! We don't think she got much but not knowing what it is means not knowing what to do about it?

Looks like used Phosguard.
Have you ever used a media to bring down phosphates in your tank water.
That's what it looks like to me, its usually dispensed in a net to be used in a sump.

I think it may be a bag of Purigen.

This is much less of a danger than Phosguard.

Thank you to everyone for your help! Pup is doing fine looks like we got it before she ate/snifft too much of it! We had a very sleepness night taking turns watching her. (We all ended up being awake all night because even after hand over no-one could sleep!) She didn't have any worrying symptoms over night so we can hopefully say she is out of the woods! Many thanks to you all!
