Does anyone know what this is?

I’ve been dealing with bubble algae and today I pulled out one of my Zoa frags that had been overrun to scrap it off and dip it.

After pulled off the piece from my rock I noticed these small black sticks they almost look like poop. Also seemed that where I had glued in my frag to the rock had almost started to decay? Does anyone know what these are? Thanks for the help

Can you get some white light pics? The blue lighting isn’t good for ID’s.

if it is loose and not stuck to the rocks, my first guess would be snail poop

It is loose and not stuck to the rocks originally thought snail poop but wasn’t sure. Thanks
