My reef is 225 gallons. It’s 5 feet long 3 feet wide 2 feet tall. I have four ecotech MP 60s -tank is all acropora except for three torches. I currently running my MPs at about 40% on Reef crest mode.

Four MP60s on a 5 foot tank? Wow lol. I would say no more than 50 percent on each unit would be plenty. Maybe too much. I have two MP40s and one MP60 on my 8x3 tank running all at 50 percent and get decent flow. Granted it’s a FOWLR and not an sps tank but you could have got away with 4 MP40s most likely.

I've found mp60s too much of a pump for a 225.

Years ago on my 225 I went from 2 mp60s and 2 mp40s to just 6 mp40s and the flow is much better, more coverage, varied and turbulent.

I run 3 MP60s on my 500 gallon, among various other powerheads. 72”x54”x30”. I run them in ramping/wave modes, but at the top of the ramp they will reach 100%. When I was running them at 100% constant they were upsetting some of the corals.
