Does anyone own one or something similar? Im looking to get one for my 23 G cube. Would like to know is it loud? Too much flow..etc?

I have the slw 10, It's not loud at all. I only have lps and softies in my 20g so I keep the wavemaker at the lowest speed and it's perfect.

I have two slw-20’s on my system. They’re by far the quietest jebao wavemakers I’ve owned. I’ve tried wp’s, pp’s and ow’s and IME, these are quieter. The flow is much broader though, so don’t expect a lazer beam of flow. They obviously work great though because the acros in my 55g are healthy.

I’ve got a Jebao pp-4 and have used sw-2 in the past and can’t hear a thing from them. I can only assume the new versions would be equally quiet if not more so.

I got two slw-10s and one killed my clownfish within a week, it got sucked onto the back of the powerhead.

I hate them and wish I had gone with something else. I'm spending $20 bucks on some custom 3d printed guards.

I'm running a slw 10 and slw20 on 2 different tanks and love them. I think I purchased on ebay and got the extra 2 or 3 yr warranty for like $10 or something. They are both absolutely silent.

I like them more than my Tunze turbelle at the moment, we will see how long they last though.

That's not the powerhead's fault though.
Incorrect. These and the nero they're clones of are known fish killers. Read the nero reviews and you'll see many many examples of this happening. This was an otherwise completely healthy 2 year old clown and the slw-10 was on its lowest pulse speed setting.

I dont see how a 2 yr old clown could get sucked into the intake if it was strong and healthy and the pump was on its lowest setting. Must have been pretty small.

I own 4 slws and they are great. Have them all on lowest setting and they create great water movement.

I thought the same thing. It's a design flaw with these pumps and the nero. Again, check reviews particularly for the nero and you'll see that most of the low star reviews mention dead fish.

whats the sellers name on fleabay?

Sold by Techntoy

+2 yr square trade warranty for just $5 extra.

I guess the SLW20 was ebay and I liked it so much I purchased the slw10 a week or two later on Amazon.

Ive heard lot of sellers on fleabay wont honor their waranty. Have you had any problems with this seller?

I have an SLW-20 on my Innovative marine 20 gallon peninsula and it's running on the lowest setting and putting out plenty of flow. Pretty much silent also.

Well, the original warranty would be a manufacturer warranty and the square trade warranty is 3rd party so who sold it matters not. If it arrived DOA and the seller refused to refund, ebay and or PayPal would offer resolution.

I have an slw20 and it’s much quieter then my MP10QD’s
I got the fish/snail guard on mine for peace of mind.

Testing. Pulse at 3 leds.
