Does anyone use a net breeder for chaeto?

I’m thinking about buying one and a little growth light on Amazon for some chaeto directly in my tank! This would work right?

I don't....hadn't thought of this though. My chaeto initially came in and was really brittle. lots of little one inch pieces breaking off. now they are sitting on the bottom of my sump growing. This might be a good place to collect them and keep them all together so they intertwine.
