Does anyone use Prodibio products?

If you use these, how do you like them? What kind of a difference does it make in your tank?

Friend of mine used it and really could not see a major difference, went back to make sure Kh, Calc,Alk and Mag stay in check

I've ran probiotic/bacterial driven systems for quite some time now from the ZEOvit method, to Fauna Marin ultralith (similar to ZEO) along with Prodibio, which I'm still using. Prodibio does work and it's cheaper and much easier to use than the other two I mentioned (or other ones on the market).

Bacterial driven/probiotic methods DO work, just make sure you fully understand them before trying it out. It's not a snake oil, it's a means to efficiently drive down nutrients.

You always need to make sure that your Alk, Cal and Mag stay in check... Prodibio is a means to run a bacterial driven system... those params and Prodibio are completely unrelated. BTW, you generally measure Alk. via KH - KH is a means of measuring one's ALK.

I've been happy with the results so far. I've not been as consistent with adding as I should be, which is likely haveing some serioud effects on how it works for me, but I can see results. I started getting more colors within the first 4 weeks. KniLLifer's tank is what turned me on to it. I haven't seen as many systems that dazzle the eye and have anywhere near the grow he gets... The proof was in the pudding

. He's also running a PO4 reactor, and I've always been afraid of those, but have at least let the idea enter my mind once or twice.

I've been using Reef Booster (food), Bioptim, and Biodigest. There are other products (Strontium, Iodine, etc.) and I used those for the first month or so (until the kit ran out

), but I can get the other 3 locally for the same price as on line, so I'm just using those right now.

what is the size of your tank and are you still using prodibio
