Ive used Coral Pro, ESV and switched to Tropic Marin Pro a year or so ago, and I cant say enough good things about it.
I run an sps only tank and definitelly can tell the salt quality by how they mix and the coral reactions while doing a WC.

ESV is thought to be an excellent salt and while I run ESV Alk, Ca and Mg, thought would be good chemistry to also run their salt. Corals always slimed a bit after a water change. Coral Pro kept me getting red slime and the very high Alk(12.00 dkh) pushed me away.

TMP isnt cheap, but mixes clear, and has been very consistent throughout the batches to my tank. I change the water and corals keep polyps always out, never sliming or reacting while having great coloration during the months ive used it.

Im not bashing the other salts Ive used, im sure others have had success with it, but TMP will be keeping my money for years to come.

I started out with RS Coral Pro. I was new to the hobby and knew very little about water chemistry. As I learned, and as I decided what I would use as 'proper levels' for Alk, Calc, Mag, I switched to Tropic Marin Pro. I've used it for approx 18 months. Very consistent parameters. Easy to mix. Mixes clear. It is a bit hard to find locally. I've got one LFS (40 minute one-way drive) that usually has it. Lately, I've been ordering it from Marine Depot --- free shipping, lower cost, delivered to my door. Of course, the UPS guy hates me.

Thanks I'll look into them, in the past it wasn't worth it because shipping cost so much, but definitely worth it for free shipping.

I just went to order through marine depot and it's free shipping on $199. and over the 200 gal. mix is $98.

I use to use it a couple of years ago. I lost some SPS colonies due to their low Alk. I didn't like having to adjust for 5 dkh

I have been using it Over a Year Now with Many Buckets used (around 15).

Alk is usually around 8.5 which is Spot on Where I Keep It.

No More Reef Crystals and their Insane 14 Alkalinity!!!!!!

Tropic Marin Pro is Amazing.

I would never use anything else!

They all were great and if you like using one brand more that's great, but salt mix won't give success or failure in this hobby or really matter at all in this current time and market of salts. That was my experience.

If looking at a cost per gallon perspective I eventually thought if I spend a fixed amount of money I can change more water for the $$ with IO and the system is better off for it.

I use it too. Mixes crystal clear. No more sludge in the bottom of the barrel. Use every last drop of it. Alk is consistently at around 8. I dose triton and it seems to keep everything extremely stable and consistant with my dosing.

Exactly. I figure there is greater benefit to changing water twice as much/often than what a more expensive salt could possibly offer. IO, 200g 39.99, two day free shipping ~3 good water changes for my 275 system. I use a box a month so each month I change in my display at least ~150 gallons(~55%). I find this is much cheaper in fact to dosing trace elements at all. I just do bulk Kalk, ALK, Cal, Mag from BRS. All my trace elements are already in all the new water I change. With a BRS 6 stage RO/DI water saver system I have ideal water mixed and exchange 30-50% of my display system monthly. I found this keeps a very stable environment.
