I recently replaced my old broken led lights. However, when I turned them on, the new ones seem drastically dimmer. Does this mean my corals won't get enough light? But this model is quite popular in my area.

Many hope or think that led have more par at a certain brightness than a t5 at the same brightness.
This is not true.
Most led need to be “brighter” than a t5 or MH to achieve the same par.
Therefore, a low quality led light will be brighter than a good quality led. But not as drasticly as the t5 mh.

It is true, but our eyes are terrible judges of this. You can turn down the violet and blue and then turn up the red, yellow and green and they will get a light brighter, but the output will be roughly the same. The only real way to know is to get a good meter.
However, if you know the brand, then most have posted PAR maps on the web somewhere. You can also count up the diode types and wattages and people can give you an educated guess, but it is just a guess.
