Better than broken stuff I guess. More than likely it's warehouse workers that are being pushed so they just grab what ever box they can get that will hold the item and fill it up. I can't imagine it's a relaxing job. Also I they could have been out of smaller boxes?

Such a waste of material and men power to ship a gift card. Does it really need a huge box and bubble wraps to ship a gift card?? Come on brs! Email it!

...and I get stuff from amazon that clearly could use a box, but comes in bubble mailer.

Heck my wife ordered a really nice glass singing bowl from Wish (China) and it came in a big ball of bubble wrap, it made it though!

Is or more waste than packing chips in a bag 3 times the size needed to contain the product and they sell a gazillion bags a year

and Maybe vthe warehouse workers are on commissions and get a bonus depending on the square foot of boxes they package

Had the same thing and it was shrink wrapped and still damaged. Think they repacked it broken. Pending response to customer service request. I am sure they are super busy blowing all those pillows up.
