does dosing different type of bacteria additives cause STN/RTN ?

past months, i've been loosing several nice looking SPS colonies..the only change i made was dosing KZ Zeo-bak as well as Cyano Clean to battle cyanobacteria as instructed. Though, the cyanobacteria are gone, my sps are peeling away....

all my parameters are in check (Nitrate: 5-10ppm Phosphate: .01-.05).... my routine water changes are done in every 3 to 4 weeks... in the past, i'd used only microbacter7 from brightwell aquatic for every water changes.

i would suspect something other than bacteria products to cause your sps to let go.

how are the corals dying? base up or tips down? or do they just give up in a day? both are indicators of instability.

If you have had to be fighting cyno in your aquarium your tank is not stable enough to keep SPS. I always spend the first year of a tank getting my tank biology stable and rock solid. I had to learn the hard way by having coral losses many years ago. An if you treat the water with products to rid your tank of said cyno you will harm your SPS. Any time you are battling Algae in your aquarium SPS do not need to be in the aquarium. They have to have stable water chemistry and when you don't have it they will suffer.
