Does fish have ick

Hi guys I’ve just finished work and checked on my fish my yellow tail damsel seems to have white spots on tail is this ick or something elee

I'd say yes, that's ich.

Definitely looks like Ich! It's possible he will fight off the parasite on his own given that he isn't stressed (fish fighting) and is eating.

Yes. Definitely looks like ich. I suggest you pull him out if you have other fish in the tank. Do you see it scratching itself against rocks or other objects?

Is it a new fish?

Is it in quarantine or in your display?

Did you recently add any other new fish to the tank holding the Damsel?

Is the fish swimming into current from the return or power head?

Does the fish appear to be breathing heavy?
