does ick fall off rigth away

I have three clown that fell into my 15 gallon sump they are doing great there so I left them there .. they are new to the tank observed them in my friends house before I brought them and they had no dots as soon as I saw them in the sump there were covered in spots is it ick ?
I blew them off with a turnkey Baster and they fell rigth off ...
or is it maybe sand that makes it way down there and gets stuck to them ? I am very scared as I have very expensive fish in there !

Could be some of that stuff at the bottom. They are also very skinny. Need to feem them more often.

Yess one of them is I rescued them from my friends tank I will give them a great home he has no ick so I am so scared will start feeding them tommrow all kinds of food not to much but rigth amount to get them rigth on track one them so what do u think it’s ick or just something other ?

From what you said that it comes right off then I don’t think so. Maybe someone else may have a different opinion. Just keep an eye and if you see more white dots then it could be. Feed a viriety of foods to help them become healthy.

Ich trophonts can't be blown off a fish, so most likely it was sand or debris.

Thanks !!! Yess they get covered with it but as soon as I feed them and they move they fall off so I am safe !!
