Looking to add a feed cycle to my Hydor Protein Skimmer, so I was seeing if there was a cost effective way to do it (No, Apex or Neptune isn't cost effective so don't bother recommending them). I have looked into digital timers but the problem is that I need the flexibility of feeding times (my wife generally feeds them and has to work around the erratic needs of young kids).

Smart plug with an Alexa device?

Without a built in feed timer or an Apex or GHL, I'm not sure there is a way to do it.

Single wireless outlet. Then you can turn it off with the app, or with Alexa, and you can program it.
