does kessil a350w have less par than a350?

Im gettingna kessil and I am supposed to be paying for it tomorrow. I am torn between the a350 and a350w. My tank is 36 inches long. I want to keep some sps on the bottom have of my tank and im wondering of the a350w has less par on the bottom of the tank since it has a wider spread. I can only afford to get 1 light for now. But I am running t5 ho too. If anyone has any thoughts or experience your advice will be greatly appreciated. I should have posted this question sooner because I need answers asap lol!

Do you mean the 360's? I thought the 350's were discontinued, along with any non WE models. Maybe a little more details specifically about your tank will help also - Dimensions/stocking plans?

your only option is the 350w since you only want one. it well also be enough light to grow corals on the bottom along with the t5's

also the a350 are made for tanks 24" and more top to bottom and , if I remember correctly you have a 46 bow front which is probably 18" top to bottom so its not needed or practical for your tank.

The 350s may very well be discontinued. Im buying mine slightly used though. My tank dimensions are
36 long
21 high (ceiling to floor)
13 wide (side view from left to right)
It is a 46 gallon bowfront your correct. But its 21 inches from top to bottom which is why im so worried about the sps at the bottom.

Oh and stocking: its a mixed reef with about half sps, half lps and just a couple softies. I have millepora, montipora, digitata, acros and more sps. I plan on making it mainly sps in the near future. And would like a lot of sps at the bottom IF possible.

there are plenty of acro's that well do fine at the bottom with the 350w and t5's they all don't need 400 par like some think

Yeah I think ill be happy regardless as well. I went ahead and paid for the a350w. I couldn't stand thinking about it anymore so I just hurried up and did it so now its done and cant be undone! A weight off my shoulders! Im the single most indecisive person on the planet I swear. So you can imagine my brain being split into over this decision. You ought to see me when im trying to choose which coral to go with. Its very disturbing! But anyway thanks again. My understanding is that the only difference between A350 and A350W is the lenses selected. I own both and have been happy with them for several years. The regular A350 will provide better depth and more intense light over a smaller area due a more focused lens. The wide lens version takes the same LED source and spreads it over a wider area.

We have a 90 gallon (24x24x36) tank, with an A350W on either side and an A350N in the middle. This provides coverage for our anemone on a lower level and SPS around the central rock structure. The other kessils provide a more balanced lighting for the remainder of the tank.

I have a question . I have a 55 gallon tank (25x25x30x) i just purchase a 2 350we last week to put on my 55 gallon tank . My question is 2 350 is not too much on my tank? I just worried about my corals if they getting a too much light and die. Please give me advice thanks.

I would argue one A350w is probably enough, since they will project a 24"x24" pattern. However, if you use two and place them closer to the surface you can get more light coverage and some overlap. If this is too bright, you can always turn down the intensity since these are adjustable. I would recommend starting them on your tank at 50% or lower and light acclimating if you have existing corals or other photosynthetic creatures.

What should I start the a350w on? And how much and often should I turn it up to properly acclimate my tank? Im really worried about bleaching my coral :-/
