Does Live Sand have hitchhikers like bristleworms?

this is the sand im looking on getting and i want to avoid getting bristle worms extremely important for me would this sand have bristle worms in it?

Generally no, and if it does, they're long dead from the bags sitting in warehouses and parts stores

doubt it, its live in bacteria only, maybe some surviving eggs of stuff, but nothing much. Why the desire to avoid a good CUC addition?

well bristles suck and i just personally hate them

I hear you i hate em too.. nasty looking things... when i buy coral and its on rocks i take them off the rock and toss the rock.. even if its tiny rocks i learn3d they always have bristle worm on em... f that lol

exactly man right now im starting up a 32gallon bio cube i just ordered 40lb of DRY rock and 40lbs of Live sand and gonna try transfer over my 10g tank without bringing anything in basically gonna dip everything piece by piece

Most bristleworms are detritovores and quite beneficial. I love the ones in my tank, I even saved some for my new setup.

You won't get anything alive in those bags of sand, some bacteria and algae depending on how old the batch is.

While bristles are ugly and can explode in population, they're by far the most useful cleanup organism you can put in your tank. It's impossible to keep sand bed clean without them IMO.
