Just like how higher temperatures speed ich lifecycle,

Will lowering/raising salinity affect ich life cycle speed?

I don’t want to inadvertently negatively affect my FOWLR fallow period.

What I found seems to indicate a minimum of 80°F and probably a temperature of closer to 90°F (this won't kill it but merely accelerates the life cycle). I'm not sure what adverse effect this would have (if any) on your tank, though.

Yes, life cycle depends on strain, temperature, salinity, and host.
