Does my candy cane coral look ok?

Hey all. I recently started my reef adventures and was wondering how my candy cane coral looks. He has been in the tank for almost a month now and wanted to see if it's doing ok. The coral is placed relatively close to the bottom on top of one of my rocks. Please let me know what you think!

10 weeks. I’m starting to see green algae taking over the rocks.

That is a new tank. The green algae may be the beginning of "new tank uglies". Manual removal is all you can do until the tank matures and stabilizes.

We need your water test numbers to be able to provide further guidance. Also, what kind of lighting are you using? Also, do you have any power heads in the thank to supplement flow?
