Does my derasa clam look healthy?

Hello, I have bought a derasa clam a bought about 2 weeks back and I wanted to know if it looks healthy because it’s mouth is closed but it is fully open and I have been feeding it phytoplankton because it is only three inches, so can somebody tell me if it is healthy or not?

Hard to tell from the pic but looks pretty good. Has it's mouth been closed the whole 2 weeks?

No only for 5 days

I wouldnt be concerned. It will open and close as it filters. As long as the mantle is open and not pinched I wouldn't worry.
