Does my fish have ich?

If it is velvet how long do I have? And what is the minimum amount of time before i replace the tang (i wont be getting another tang btw)

Fish should start dying within a week if this is velvet, although 1 or 2 may build up temporary immunity & survive.

Sorry to hear about your loss. :(

Does this effect coral because now one of my favorite sps is starting to die

No. Fish parasites dont effect corals/inverts. You will want to look at your chemistry, lighting & coral pests for an answer to that.

Its funny i have about 20 different sps frags in there and the one that grows and looks the best is dying. Its my luck

Well I'm not the best one to find help with this issue. You would do well to create a post with parameters and pictures in the reef discussion or SPS forums to get help with your coral. I hope you get it sorted out!

My anthias just found dead while testing water. No white spots or anythinh and eating and swimming great yesterday night

You wont always see the spots. Some fish will just die of velvet without showing much of a sign. We know it's in there at this point and that it wont go away until you run out of fish OR you treat for it. I'm sorry for the loss, but these things happen when you don't/can't QT.

Would a 10 gallon bb with a aquaclear and a piece of lr from my sump work for a quarantine

It can come in on just about anything. Macro algae, snails, shrimp, corals, live rock.... even just the water from your LFS (if it has velvet in the system) can contain it. Your fish could build up a temporary resistance to it - like humble mentioned- and then show itself like this. It's a rough one to deal with. If your able to get a QT, then why not get it now and try to save your fish? No reason to let them die.

It depends on what all you plan to Quarantine. If your planing on keeping tangs or fish that are a little bigger than your average clown, then a 20 long may be better.

Money is very tight around this time of year.
