Does my mandarin dragonet look to be a good weight?

a couple things first lol:
-my tank is FULL of pods
-she was asleep in these pictures which is why she looks so washed out. she does NOT normally look like this.
-it's really hard to get photos to show what she looks like from the top so the photos may make her seem thinner from being pushed against the glass if that makes sense.

Yes, but the meaty section of the tail will go first. You can see pronounced lateral line and even spines in emaciated fish.

Yeah I know what you mean but this fish looks pretty good because I have one and it looks the same as it does and like I said earlier you would see it's bones bulging out because I've seen them like this at some of the lfs around me

Alot of people say that there hard to take care of but you just have to go on algaebarn website and keep ordering pods every month or 2 unless you do a separate pod culture but I just buy a big bag every 2 months and so far mine looks pretty healthy and I'm around 1 year and a half so hopefully mine will be ok and I also feed live brine shrimp but I don't know if it eats them or not but my other fish do and I feed nutramar ova also but I can never tell if he is eating the stuff but I do know that he is fat and healthy like this person has

If the stomach area is concave the fish is in trouble and needs more food. This, you have to get a look under the fish to see how well it's eating a starving mandarin will be pinched/sucked in.
