I have a nuvo 40 with a hydra 26 running the brs AB+ schedule. The light is about 9.5" from the water. I just rented a par meter from my lfs for the night and got some measurements. Just wanted to check to see if my numbers look ok or if there is anything I should change. I have mostly lps and polyps but have a few easy sps and would like to add maybe a acro or 2 down the road, but by no means a full sps tank. Let me know what you guys think!

Looks good for what you have but if you plan on going heavier with sps I would add another 26 and raise your lights to 12”

Thanks, I don't plan to go heavy on the sps maybe 1 or 2 more. Was also thinking I'll possibly add t5s down the road or possibly another hydra 26 as you said.

Was also thinking on building up the rock on the right side a little more to get closer to the light and have a little more room.

Pick some low-light acropora and you will be OK. For most acropora, that is not enough light, but if you choose well, then no problem with the PAR.

I added some rock to raise up the birds nest and Monty I have a little bit. Had to to do a little bit of rescaping but I think it turned out ok. Also added a few new frags! Can anyone tell me the name of the frag in the 3rd pick, they told me at the lfs but I forgot.
