does my stlophora look like its getting to much light? i attached two photos, one is my large blue stylo, the main portions of the coral look pale, skeleton and polyps, but the tips are fluffy and blue. the second photo is the same coral, but in different conditions on my frag rack, this is what the larger colony looked like originally so im thinking too much light, any help would be great!

That light color on the tips is new growth.
yes i know, but look closely at stalks before the tips on the larger colony, its pale and polyps are not as extended as the tips, nor does it have the same consistent color throughout the coral, like the smaller colony has

My stylos sometimes shrink up briefly. Is this happening as a constant thing?

I’d keep the light intensity the same and let the coral adapt. If all your corals are showing signs of too much light then I’d drop the intensity but don’t change stuff for only one coral.

You will have to check with a par meter.

Looking at the photos it's only a guess. Trying to guess the par on a coral by a photo is like guessing how far the Moon is from the Earth down to the inch by looking at it. It's impossible.
