My fish have been in qt for 30 days being treated with cupramine for ich.

I still notice some white on the hippo but maybe its scratches and im miss id'ing it as being ich.

Im ready to remove the cupramine but i wanted to be sure first. Any help would be very much appreciated.

That isn't ich, looks more like Home in the head of lateral line disease.
Both of those are usually diet related, but there isn't difinitive answers saying it is..
Thank you im looking into what that is now.

I don't think it's ich. It's either HLLE, or possibly flukes. You can do a 5 min FW dip to confirm if flukes are present.

I did a freshwater dip for 5 min and didnt see any flukes.

Ive read about HLLE and from what i undertand ive been feeding better and doing more water changes.

Its 2.5 weeks later and i dont think much progress has happened. All my fish are still in quarantine togther and this is the only lne with any symptoms or issiues.

Its coming time to release back in my display after fallow and im not sure what to do.

Anyone have suggestions
?

I think you are just dealing with HLLE

Is it ok to add this fish back into the main display once fallow is over in another couple weeks? Even if hes still showing signs of HLLE.

HLLE is treatable with a low stress environment, nutritious foods, pristine water. Most fish start to recover once out of meds, and smaller QT tanks.
