I made a batch of BRS alk solution a few months ago that I didn’t use. It’s been closed and stored in a dark closet indoors. Can this solution still be used? I’m going to say 6 months. There is no visible precipitation.

It is fine. Some may precipitate if it got cold as they are near the solubility limit, but warming will help dissolve any solids.
Thanks. I ran out of All-for-reef and there appears to be a shortage on both BRS and Marine Depot so I don’t know how long they’re going to be out. I also supplement kalk with my top off. Do you think I can just dose alkalinity until I get my normal supplement or dose with calcium?

If its more than a few days, I think calcium will drop if the demand for alk is substantial. I'd dose both.

Can confirm that ESV B-Ionic alk can be mixed up on arrival or left precipitated as received; either way, it will work fine at least a year later.

Where are you? I bought some all for reef when it was in stock a couple weeks ago. If you're near me, I can give you one of my bottles.
