Does red sea nopox go bad?

I cant find anywhere whether or not nopox goes bad or expires. I have a bottle that is three years old and have been using it in my 32 g tank. I seem to have cyano that just wont go away though and I dont know if the nopox is contributing or its something else. Three years ago when I was using it in my 120g religiously for years I never had a cyano problem with it. At one point though I experimented with a vinegar/vodka homemade recipe that made cyano go nuts so I at least know the ingredients in nopox have the potential to make it go crazy

What are your parameters? Cyano is usually from a nutrient imbalance or lack of flow, or both.
