Hello,
I recently set up a 25 gallon nano. I just did a water change, and the new saltwater was somewhat slightly cloudy when I added it to the display, and now the whole display looks cloudy. It’s not awful, and the livestock looks fine. I’m just wondering if it will eventually clear up, or if I should consider more water changes.
For some background, the new salt is a 50/50 mix for Red Sea coral pro and tropic Marin pro reef. Here’s the reason for the mix: I started the tank with coral pro, and did the first few water changes with it. I decided that I did not want such a high alk salt, so went with the tropic marin. My plan was to do water changes with rough 50/50 split so it would be less of a jump. I mixed my salt two days ahead of the change, which may be the issue. It was sitting in the bucket for two days, no heat, no aeration.
Anyway, my only concern is that I’m trying to get the water crystal clear. Any advice would be great!
