Does stirring up the sump or detritus quickly lower the PH?

Does stirring up the sump or detritus quickly lower the PH?...... lets say it drops from 8.31 to 8.25,,, should slightly increase the Kalk dos for an hour or two to catch it up?

I think the amount of detritus would matter. Even then I'm inclined to say no and that you shouldn't dose kalk amount based on whether you stirred your sump or not.

What time frame does it drop 0.06?
Whats the accuracy of the pH probe?
Perhaps if there was Hydrogen sufilde gas it might as that’s an acid.

I would not chase with kalk in that case.
Perhaps more aeration.

I'd be more concerned about nutrients than Ph

I was having an issue with a pump to my Scrubber, sump got stirred up and this time it dropped from 8.29 to 8.26 , last time I stirred up some Ciano and dusted some rocks with a turkey baster, and it dropped .05 , the ORP fell quickly also

ORP plummets at same time, I just installed DIY power filter to get the detritus, watching the orp to see if its working

accuracy of any of the probes makes me crazy, I had a color ph test that suggested I was near 8.5 and just got a hanna ph checker that of course I had to calibrate myself so theres another unknown, but after the neptune probe was recalibrated and the hanna checker also triple calibrated (4/7/10 solution) they read nearly same around 8.28,,,,,fyi the apex probe was 8.0 before the calibration then it went up to 8.3 after calibration.
