So I got into the hobby right at the time LED's hit the market and never had the chance to play around with T5's too much. I do run an AquaticLife hybrid now but only run the T5's for about 3 hours in the middle of my light schedule and I think it's been great.
I have a 20L with a older 30" 4 bulb AquaticLife T5 fixture that I'm wanting to experiment with... putting duplicate frags in there to see what the effects of different lighting does. I'm sure I'll have more questions down the road, but the first is do T5 bulbs stack in par? For example if a single B+ runs 300 par at the surface, would 4 run 1200? My guess that there's probably some stacking but there's bound to be some diminishing return...
