Just wondering as the 1st one I had was always out and about, no matter the time. Well I just got my new big guy, (Clay is his name) and he has not stopped roaming the tank and the lights have been off for a few hours now. He has been in QT for the last month as he had a bout with flukes, but he is healthy as can be. Just need the scabs on his face to heal over.

My copperband butterfly and clowns seem to never rest
Fish can sleep in the light also

Before nightfall, fish find a nice safe hole to tuck into. And they sleep (except a few fish that are inactive during the night and active at night). When you are night diving, you should be careful not to disturb fish with bright lights because they can get disoriented and leave the haven which is not good.

Achilles are incredibly active. I wouldn't worry. If they are eating well and dont seem stressed.
He is for sure active, he does laps all day long. When I left for work, he was still doing them. Super cool fish for sure. He started eating today for me, which makes me feel so much better. He was eating alot at the store while in QT, 1st night home I would expect the new house jitters, but here on day 2, He was eating lots!

My Foxface and CBB don’t appear to sleep, but there are many fish out there that don’t stop swimming even when sleeping so it wouldn’t surprise me if many of the fish we own don’t stop swimming even when sleeping.
