Does the Kessil Spectral controller ramp between points?

Hi,

I've been running a Kessil 360 controlled by an Apex since 2016 on my tank. I bought a 360x and a spectral controller and I'm trying to program it to match the Apex.

For example, I go to 20% at 1400, but the tank is noticeably bright at 1100 already on the Apex. In my test runs with the 360x, the light is off completely until 1400. Is there not a way to have it gradually ramp between points?

Why not use the Apex?

Was doing the same with my 6 360s

I don't believe you can with the 360x because the removed the 0-10v port, it's USB C only.

You could use the apex via iota with a dongle if interested. I prefer the dongle with the Kessil app though.

I forgot to mention that with the app and the dongle it is apparent to me that it does ramp. I say the as the intensity shown increases incrementally between my programmed points.

The Spectral Controller will ramp between points but you can also use IOTA with the Dongle to control with Apex. Here is my 360X in the Apex Dashboard.

C/N's: Yes, the Spectral Controller does ramp up/down in between intensity settings.

Watching Kessil's 20 minute youtube video I think I figured out the problem. They said that for the time period between the 0 point and the first point, it will only ramp the last 10 minutes before the first set point. After that it will ramp evenly between points. I had to big of a gap between my 0 point and 1st point so I just added one to closer match my Apex programming.

I just dropped $99 on the Spectral X because I prefer wired over WiFi, knowing everything I might have gone with the Wifi Dongle.
