Does the salt you use matter very much?

Depending on the level of the reefers involvement in maintenance it can play a huge roll. If you don't want to do water changes and plan to dose according to needs then I would say no difference.

I've run every kind of salt and I've settled on plain IO. Saves me loads to use on kalk and a couple other things I use to keep my tank in line.
