Does the tunze 3155 ato auto turn off?

So for example if my reservoir was to run dry; would the pump burn out or would it realize there’s no water?
Buying a new ato container and trying to decide if it should or should not be clear so I can see the water level / if the pump would run dry if it ran out of water?

It turns off and the display panel will flash red indicating low water. After re-filling the reservoir with water, you may need to unplug and re-plug the power outlet then the pump will turn on again from my experience.

Great thank you!! That would be fine as I can see the display panel and would just add water.

Me too. Sometimes, you have to tip the pump over to let the air out, so try and not let it go dry.

If you get white or a lighter color, you can usually see the water level in there.

It doesn’t detect no water but it auto shuts off after running for 10-15 mins( can’t remember which) even if it is pumping water or not.
