Hey all, just recently got more active into the hobby after just being on maintenance mode for almost 2 years now and wanted to know if my 6 Stage RODI setup made any sense now.

My previous setup was:
Sediment Filter -> Carbon Block -> Membrane -> BRS Regular DI Resin -> SpectraPure MaxCap DI -> SpectraPure SilicaBuster DI (Have bad silicates in my tap water)

I decided on this last black friday mega haul I wanted to switch it up and move to a the Pro Series Anion DI & Pro Mixed Bed Cation DI for the last two stages instead of the SpectraPure DI's

New setup would be:
Sediment Filter -> Carbon Block -> Membrane -> BRS Regular DI Resin -> BRS Pro Series Anion DI -> BRS Pro Mixed Bed Cation DI

Does this make any sense or should I take out the BRS Regular DI Resin for another Carbon Block / move it to the last stage and move the Annion/Mixed Bed Cation before it.

Any input would be great! Trying to see if I'm not overlooking anything with this setup.

Mixed bed should be last or at least not before only anion or cation

So keep it the current way,

Regular DI -> Anion -> Mixed Bed Cation?

membrane, pro di singles 1 and 2, then mixed...

sediment, 2x carbon, membrane, pro di 1 and 2, mixed would be a great combo,
same as brs high end kits,

Yeah I was thinking about that but wanted to see if the Regular DI would do the trick for the first stage instead of using Pro Series DI 1.

I kind of just wanted the PO4 and Silica Removal using the Pro Series 2 and Mixed Bed. Thinking that after the regular DI this combo would remove anything it didn't already catch.

might be worth shooting a message to BRS, but having the mixed first, no sense in the pro. defeats the single can advantage. after the mixed 1st, there should be nothing for the pro to do.

not sure about no #1 pro, and using #2 first, then mixed, worth asking brs for their thoughts on it, if thats your plan.

After talking to the BRS team like @JS_racer suggested I finally figured out that with my setup if I want to avoid running part 1 for right now (since I have like 4 packages of Mixed Bed left) to run it this way:

Sediment Filter -> Carbon Block -> Membrane ->
BRS Pro Series Anion DI (Part 2 ) -> BRS Regular Mixed Bed DI Resin -> BRS Pro Mixed Bed Cation DI ( Part 3 )

Thanks for all who replied! :)
