Does this duncan look normal?

My ducan heads extend extremely far from the skeleton. Is that normal and healthy?

Seems like in most pics I see the head kind of sets closer to the skeleton.

Is the section the yellow arrow is pointing at new skeleton forming?

How much flow? If they're whipping around like a head of hair at a Metal Concert... too much flow, too much stress

Mine has gone from 2 heads to 10 or more. It looks like yours and it's doing great. I thing they extend like that when they are trying to feed but don't really know. I feed the whole tank home brew phyto and my tank has pretty aggressive flow. When mine gets a new head it starts around the bottom of the original head right at the stony part.

Well, my video gets to 100% uploaded, then I get a message telling me oops, ran into some problems. So???

I don't think the flow is too high though. Seems med at most to me.
