Take into account that I have been treating it for 2 weeks for the dreaded "Elegance Coral Syndrome" I am considering when to move it back into my display tank. If I can get it to a point where I feel it has recovered I will outline what I did in this case.

I am still worried in that the posted picture, while much improved, still has what I consider blunted tentacles. Do some Elegance Coral's not have the long flowing tentacles?

Those are baby tentacles. They get longer as it grows and adapts to your flow. Your coral looks great. Don’t focus on the tentacles so much. Warning signs are receding from the skeleton, not extending from skeleton, and actual skeleton showing. And if it bails out (leaves the skeleton), then its toast.

This is the same elegance. Size of a quarter when I got it 8 months ago. Now it's the size of a softball.
