Im not sure if that dark area is a problem mid body or if it's just his coloring. Also his fins are looking a little frayed.

His coloring looks normal to me except maybe his gills look a little red? Is that what you're seeing? Is he breathing heavily?

What is the ammonia like in there, do you have an alert badge?

The fins could be a bacterial infection or nipping. Does he have any tank-mates?

He looks ok aside from the fins. I'd also like to know if there is aggression or any other tankmates. Ammonia? What meds are in the water currently and what have you treated for already? Any symptoms to go along with the coloring and fins?

Treating with copper already did prazipro twice. Other tank mates resplendent anthias and yellow assessor. Ammonia badge did a partial water change today. He was hiding for a bit yesterday. The water looks cloudy even after the water change.

+1 Feed and observe. If it gets worse you could add an antibiotic.

They have only been getting frozen. I'll add vitamins.

Really want to get these guys in some clean water no chemicals. 14 days to go. But they might have had copper at LA already.

My tank is out of fallow tomorrow!!! Finally. My flame hawk in another tank is ready to move but I'm afraid he will become territorial if he's the only one in the tank. The others have a couple of weeks to go
