I wish I could get a picture that shows the colors in it..It's mostly purple with some light orange and the green is only in certian areas.....

ORA did a blog on their website about this. They labeled it GFP (Green Flourescent Protein) Infection. You should check it out.

I will ceck it out thanks.. It's had the green in it since it started growing out..

Looks like a Cali tort or another similar blue/green sps. I agree with the others that it's not a case of grafting. Most likely that's it's normal coloration.

Where did you get that piece henry??? I know it's not grafted I have it and I'm the only one I know that has it..... That green will turn gold given the right conditions..... The originator of the colony keeperz lost his....

I got a small piece from a friend of mine who had a shop out here. He doesn't have his colony or the shop anymore. The piece is very odd....

It's def not a tort the coralites aren't the same as a tort. I have alot of flow in my tank and have had this piece in real high flow and in medium flow as well the coralite structure didn't change. The coralites grow in uniform rows on the branches and are kidna swirled at the base. Anyway thanks for the respones everyone... Leds coming soon so we'll see what it looks like under those...
