I found this on the bottom of the 10g after removing one of the rocks.

I'm still using a cell phone camera, so the focus is not great. Are these images too large and slow to load, or can I go bigger / higher resolution?

It is about 1 cm long, looks somewhat like a shrimp, but has large forearms. From what I've seen online, it matches what I would think was a stomatopod.

There are a few others about 2mm long.

You got some pods and mini brittle stars in the rock. All of them are good, nothing to worry about. We all have them. With no preditors in your tank their number will multiply. When you finally put a fish in it will have a lot of snacks.

I was really excited about the brittle stars, and I hope to see some live pods soon.

I actually would have been excited to find a mantis too. I know some people consider them pests, but I could see myself keeping it in this little 2 gallon tank.
