Could you get a different angle? is it round?I notice this cropped up on a frag plug this morning.
A) is it bubble algae?
B) can I just take it off the frag and call it a day? I've got it away from most specimens and all rock, as you can see.

Not bubble algae but you can replug the coral and it should be fine. That algae can be a pain if you dont have tangs so I would recommend at least removing it/ brushing it offI thought it was, but maybe it's not. Pics below.
