I have not been able to find see any eggs. Haven't done a dip yet.

Left = today, right = yesterday

No corals have been added since this was added many months ago. I had a salinity swing a few days ago which is what I think caused this but want to do the aefw double check... No other acros are showing this.

I'm debating between cutting off a healthy chunk and dipping it since it's weak.

I would say yes but I have never dealt with them before. I'm sure you will be getting more answers very shortly. Good luck to you!

Edit; you may want to break out a flashlight and check at night too.

Doesn’t look like bite marks to me. Appears from first pic that the area in question is shaded, which may or may not be a contributing factor. To be honest I do not know the cause

Thanks. It is a slightly shaded area, it does get some light just not a lot

I don’t know, solitary bite marks are usually round. When multiple bite marks come together the blotchy appearance shows along with dead tissue and exposed skeleton. I do not see any solitary bite marks.
For the OP sake I hope I am correct. I also do recommend a dip to confirm. I always hate that sick feeling in my stomach when I see them peel off in a dip. Quarantine is a must for me so I never experience that again in a display

I noticed similar white patches when I began carbon dosing and the nutrient trend shifted with phosphates being consumed faster
