Does this look normal for a 2 week old tank?

A bit of an algae bloom. Does it look normal for a very new tank that’s only a few weeks old?

Looks like the "ugly phase."

On the good side, it means your tank has what it takes to maintain life. My understanding is that if you treat as others before this post have mentioned, that this growth will resolve with time.

Stay the course and be happy your tank is moving down the path to maturity,
Jim

Dry rock tank = get used to em :/

a much better solution to chemical additives is algae eating fish/snails, esp in a new tank. I recommend an lawnmower blenny and/or few margarita snails to help keep under control

I used half dry rock half live

I can already start to see some discoloration and a little bit of disappearance in the algae.
