I'm in the middle of upgrading tank sizes, and I'm noticing that even though this stand is tested and rated for this size tank it appears to be untrue.

I don't have my fish in this yet and plan to wait a while before I move them. I have no problem replacing the stand.

Also sorry if in the wrong area

What size tank and a full shot of the stand and tank might be helpful.

Don't sweat a small gap. You can always use a ship to fill any small gaps. Looks like the tank is glass. A glass tank really on needs major support on the corners.

I would put a piece of foam board between the stand and the tank, the tank will rest more evenly on the stand.

It is a 20 gallon tall. I'll get a shot of the stand after work. It is some cheap Walmart stand I was debating replacing anyways

Use foam. It's just a 20g so nothing will probably happen. If it were a larger tank like a 6' 125, that will cause the front to break and leak.

I have a piece of foam there now, I appreciate the suggestions. Going to talk to someone I know about building a custom stand so I get exactly what I want
