Does this magnifica need Cipro?

OK, I've set up a 5 gallon bucket with NSW with salinity matching the display tank (35 ppt). There's a small heater inside a PVC pipe with holes drilled in it to prevent the nem from getting burned, and a very strong air pump for flow. It's heating up now, and should be ready for the nem tomorrow morning. I'll use a blackbox LED from the display, as I don't have any spares. I'm going to order the Cipro as well.

Doing anything wrong?

Sounds good so far. Make sure that it doesnt get chopped up by the powerhead. Covering the heater is a great preventative bc they WILL get burned if they walk on it! (They won't release their foot)

I'm actually using an air pump as flow. It's very strong (and loud), and eliminates the possibility of the nem getting chopped.

Here's an update, I put the mag in the bucket yesterday morning. In the afternoon, I ended up adding a spare Sicce pump, as the air pump wasn't providing the ideal flow. I covered the intake with a net.

A few hours after adding the pump, the temp shot up to 90 from 80! Assuming it was the heater's fault, I turned the heater down and went to bed. The next morning it was 90 again, and the heater was at the lowest possible setting. That's when I realized it was the pump. I set up a fan blowing on the bucket, and it's been sitting at 80.

The mag is looking much better, even with the temperature spike. It hasn't deflated at all, and I'm really doubting it's an infection. It just needed some good water. I think I'll hold on the Cipro order for now.

Update: I determined my water was the problem, as the nem started perking up in the bucket with NSW. I did 2 25% and a 50% water change on the display tank and the mag is lookin good!

Mag still doing well?
It is, and I found out the cause. Last summer I had added some fertilizer to the sand bed for my seagrass, and that turned out to be a huge mistake as it was very high in metals. I had to replace the sand bed and do several large water changes, and everything including the mag is looking better than it has in months!
