yes, it will…
as long as your tank is dialed in
1 year old, it is keeping multiple healthy torches. I only have a problem with montipora, acropora and Favia.
how hard would you say scaly is?

they can be harder than people think…

but as long you have a spot that’s less than 100 par and doesn’t get blasted with flow.
you should be kosher.

(feed em once every 4 days, tictac sized piece of fish, mysis, etc)

if you have them, what is your parameters?

Blue coraline and purple frag plug. It will be interesting to see how it looks in your tank if you get it :thinking-face:
I've been tempted to try a scoly but the price of the nice colored ones had always put me off.
I would pass on the second one.. in daylight it's probably brownish green without much color. first one looks nice price depending.

it's nice but unless you run heavy heavy blues all you will see that is fluorescent is that little bit of orange, look at @ChiCity see all the color available for fluorescence in their pieces, imo that's what I would look for in a scoly, that blue hue will dissappear 12" away it's only available to see because it's a macro shot . that's my opinion tho I don't have any Scolymia. way to rich for my blood lol but I always enjoy seeing them!

as tmm mentioned..
that one is a bit drab right off the jump.

but there are scolys that will blossom…
you just have to know what to look for
when you’re adopting
